Interests
Ok, I have to put information about myself here real soon. As I have to provide for all the other "interests" and "backgrounds" spaces over here. Whatelse is the purpose of being here after all.......
So what will it be all about ? I Can't juggle, but being creative is one goal I have in mind.
Well im a little older than most of you guys. I was working with computers already in 1975 at the Uni. Mainframes they were called. In 1981 I was (still a student) working in a softwarehouse and that year the very first IBM PC was introduced (IBM XT). Not a 500 Gb datadrive, no 1 Gb, not even a 1Mb or a 100Kb drive. No, our PC had only 1 floppy drive. Big ones those days. They were called floppies because you could bend them !! Our first IBM XT had only 64 Kb random memory !!!! and it costed a fortune.
Yet is was not long before the first computer games were introduced. We did not have Internet those days so we had to copy software on a floppy. Any IT nerd had some floppies with them all the time at the uni, just in case of !! . Always prepared to be able to copy a game. We were our own Internet those days. We called it our Frisbee Network : throwing game-floppies to one another.
The most popular game was Pacman. By far !! I must have missed some exams because of it. Pacman is still available and if you like you can have a try here:
Sometimes you need to use the arrow keys on your numpad to activate the game properly: I told you, it's an old game. Keyboards did not have a separate arrow keypad in the past...

Hoi Cees, Bart en ik kennen elkaar van de 'Eend goed al goed' productie.
Ik werk zo nu en dan voor Herman van Veen en hij danste in die productie.
We waren aan elkaar gewaagd, hadden meteen een bijzonder contact.
Als je Bart persoonlijk kent dan weet je wat ik bedoel.
Hij heeft het licht in zijn ogen.
Ik heb hem nu al héél lang niet gezien, maar ik kom hem zeker weer tegen.
De Aarde is niet zo groot.;O))
Bedankt voor de vriendschap, ik voeg je toe maar wanneer je mijn Blog hebt gelezen weet je dat je wel een beetje je best moet doen om mijn
vriend te zijn.
Een keer per week een berichtje is toch wel het minste,lol!
Ik zie dat je een druk leven hebt!

Of course I watched it. And we must condemn every and all such action and related views. The video shows an historical portray of a very nasty period in US history. But related issues still happen even today. on racial, political grounds or otherwise. Here, there and in many parts all over the world. We must condemn it time and again.........
