EDIT/UPDATE: Voting is over. Thanks to those who took their time to vote and I'll report the result once it comes in. I believe it is taking a while because of a 'goon rush.' Yes. The person coordinating Project Epiphany made a post about it on Something Awful's GBS forums. The rules of the site state that the people can use their online resources and thats what she did. We on SA fear that all of our votes caused suspicion (apparently the site owners called them and said it triggered their audit alerts and she told them about SA.) Anyway, the other groups started to become sore losers and now I think they're being extremely careful with the votes, checking for any proxy voting. Let's wish these guys luck. They played fair and their idea was by far the most worthy.
Okay, so I randomly found this amazing couple who have an idea for an organization, known as Project Epiphany. The idea is to teach inner-city kids (mainly in high poverty areas) about astronomy!

I like stars and I'm betting you do too. Remember when you were young and seeing planets blew your FREAKING MIND?!!

Anyway, the couple pitched the idea on this website that is holding a contest to give the winning idea a $10,000 grant. These people are undoubtedly the most worthy of this money.

All you have to do is go here:

Project Epiphany!!

The catch is you have to register to the site. Don't worry, they won't spam your mail box. It takes no longer than a minute to register. So don't be lazy, think about the kids!! Think about SCIENCE!!
