Hello Dear Friends ...
I live at Van but my Dad and Mom come from Hakkari ...
so It's my another City so I want to intro my other City to everyone ...
I come to Hakkari and have a great Vacation with Relatives, Friend ... Namely I have a Great time here =)
Also I take so many pictures at here and upload them to my Photo Gallery. So U can check there when U want =)
Well There is an article about Hakkari =)
Hakkari is 210 km southeast of Van. It's area is around 9520 square km and the population is about 240.000. The city sits at an altitude of 1700 m, with high mountains dominating the land and wide valleys separate the great peaks with heights exceeding 4000 m. Mounts Cilo and Sat are two of the outstanding ones for mountaineering and winter sports. The snow accumulating on the upper parts of these mountains form beautiful glaciers. The Zap Valley, through which the road to the city passes, offers fantastic scenery.
This land has witnessed the passing of tribes in Anatolia since earliest times. Many rock drawings have been discovered on Guveruk and Tirsin plateaus to the west of Hakkari. Ruins of several Christian churches and palaces can also be seen in the districts of the city. The medieval fortress reflects the history of this small region and is worth seeing, together with the Medresse standing nearby used until the beginning of 1900s. Kayme Palace is another important ruin today, built by Seyyid Abdullah.
Taskopru (stone bridge) was built during the Ottoman period on Semdinli river, at 12 km to the district center, and it's still being used today. The bridge is 11 meters high, 21 meters long, and 3 meters wide.
Hakkari has three districts; Cukurca, Semdinli, Yuksekova. The whole province is famous for its Kilim production.
Because of its high mountains and plateaus, the flora of Hakkari is unique. For example Ters Lale (upside down tulip) is one of the plants growing only in this part of the world, on Cilo mountains. Assyrians called it as "crying tulip" because of drops of water coming out every morning from its bulb. The plant is under special preservation and is not permitted to export outside of the country.

Hello Dear Friends ...
Well .. This time i m so Busy with study cuz of my important exam..
I just want to talk about it a litt cuz of wanna explain my Life to friends and visitors =)
Well ..
What is this OSS ? OSS or Ogrenci Secme Sinavi (English: Student Selection Exam) is the University Entrance Exam in Turkey administered by
OSYM . In Turkey, the only way to enter a university is through this exam. 1,510,000 high school graduates took exam in 2006. It is a multiple choice exam.
OSS was first applied in the late 1960s. Before that year, each university selected its students via some criteria. However, with the increasing number of youth and the overloaded applications, the universities gathered and founded "Yuksek Ogretim Kurulu" - Higher Education Council, and subdivision named OSYM, "Student Selection and Placement Center". The name of the exam was decided to be ?SS, Student Selection Exam.
OSS was a 180 minute exam with 180 questions testing the students' knowledge of the high school curriculum. Each student solved the questions concerning their department chosen at high school, namely applied sciences, social sciences, and foreign languages.
The foreign language exam, YDS, was conducted a week after OSS. It was composed of foreign languages questions in English, French, and German. Like in OSS, each student solved the questions of the foreign language department they had chosen at high school.
The maximum score that a student could attain at OSS was 380, 300 being the student's achievement on the test score, and 80 being the student 's high school core based on his GPA, graduation rank, and his school's success at OSS.
If a student selected a department at college related to his studies at high school, namely applied sciences, social sciences, and foreign languages, the score was multiplied with 0,8. If a student preferred to study at a department different from his high school concentration, his score was calculated with 0,3.
The New OSS (2006-) Students who took OSS in 2006 had seen some major changes. The exam is now similar to the OSS-OYS system in terms of topics.
The exam lasts now 195 minutes, and has two parts: OSS 1 and OSS 2.OSS 1 has 120 questions on the ninth and tenth grade curriculum. There are 30 Turkish, 30 Math 1, 30 Science 1, 30 Social Sciences 1 questions. Each student has to answer every question regardless of her/his department.
OSS 2 is composed of 120 questions out of which students have to answer 60. Students at the social sciences department have to answer the social sciences-2 and literature-social test questions. Students at the applied sciences departments have to answer the applied sciences-2 and mathematics-2 questions. The students at the foreign languages departments have to answer the whole ?SS 1 and foreign language questions; which are tested separately in another exam named YDS-foreign language exam. The Turkish-Math students must answer the literature-social and mathematics-2 questions.

Though the miles separate us, the bond we have is far stronger.
You are the very one I have spent all these years looking for. You make me smile. You make me laugh. You make me whole.
I can not describe the giddy feeling I have when you are near or even when you cross my mind.
I am so amazingly happy and content and forever I want to spend in your life, in your world, in your family, and in your arms.
I love U

Dear Visitors ...
Today
(30.03.2007) is a so Important day for Muslims ...
Today is Mawlid,
Mawlid an-Nabi or Milad un-Nabi (
Turkish: Mevlid Kandili) is the celebration of the birthday of
Muhammad, the final prophet of Islam; also known as
"The Seal of the Prophets"
Shi'a and Sunni Muslims except Wahhabis/Salafis, celebrate the Mawlid; processions are held, homes or mosques are decorated, charity and food is distributed, stories about the life of
Prophet Muhammad are narrated, dhikr and poems are recited by children. On Java, it is celebrated with majestic performances by a Gamelan Sekaten.
Sunni Muslims celebrate it on the 12th of Rabi'-ul-Awwal. Shi'a Muslims celebrate this day on the 17th of Rabi'-ul-Awwal, coinciding with the birth date of the sixth Imam, Ja'far al-Sadiq. Wahhabis/Salafis, do not celebrate at all as they consider it to be a Bidah against Islam.
Tonight is a great Nite for US
- Muslims - and Just Wish that; In this Nite, Allah
(God) will give Peace to All people of World and anyone wont see a new War anymore ...
I celebrate Mewlid Nite of All Muslims ...

What You Can Do ?
At Home: Use Less Energy
Home energy accounts for 21 percent of America's global warming pollution. If we make smart choices, we can cut more pollution than the entire emissions of over 100 countries!
* Change a bulb: Better energy-saving lights
* Greener power: Re-thinking home energy
* Full list of tips: How to cut pollution at home
On the Road: Be Efficient
When it comes to global warming, how and what we drive are two of our most powerful choices. Transportation is the biggest source of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions, more than factories or homes.
* Save fuel: Use less gas with your current car
* Choose green: Buy a clean, efficient car
Neutralize the Rest
Even if you are already driving efficiently and using less electricity, there's more you can do. Buying offsets, or credits, neutralizes what we can't cut.

Would you love me ?
if I didn’t have money or a real job
if I can’t look a pretty stranger in the eye
if I told you I hated people
if I don’t watch TV
if sometimes I look in the mirror and want to die
if you saw me crying
if I sucked at math
if I gave up trying to impress you
if I couldn’t sing
if I stopped trying
if I locked myself up
if I did it for you
if I was wrong
if my shoes were 3 years old
if I couldn’t dance
if I made you a promise
if I had something to say
if I wished I was a little more gothic
if I had no rhythm or reason or rhyme
if I was a good liar
if I was a bad one
if I was emotionally attached
if my hair looked bad
if I was a thief
if I wasn’t an artist
if I thought my life was a movie
if I was a dreamer
if I hated pop music
if I was in love with you
if everything I had to say had been said before
if I had a secret
if I wanted you to know
if I needed you
if I wanted you to be my other half
if I was too lazy to even watch movies
even if you had the most beautiful eyes in the world
Would you love me?
I LOVE YOU

Eid ul Adha (10 Dhul-Hijja) - the festival of sacrifice
Eid ul-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى), or Eid-e Qurban (Persian: عید قربان) occurs on the tenth day of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijja. It is one of two Eid festivals that Muslims celebrate. Eid ul-Adha is celebrated by Muslims worldwide as a commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son (Ishmael) for Allah. Depending on the individual and area of the Muslim world the son of Abraham will be named or go unnamed. Others celebrate Eid-ul Adha as it marks the end of the Pilgrimage or Hajj for the millions of Muslims who make the trip to Mecca each year. Like Eid ul-Fitr, Eid ul-Adha also begins with a short prayer followed by a khutba. In Mecca, the Khutba is delivered from Mount Arafat.
It is celebrated on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja (ذو الحجة) of the lunar Islamic calendar, after Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. This happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan.
' Animals are sacrificed and then distributed among family, friends and the poor '
Other names for Eid ul-Adha
Eid ul-Adha is also known as
Hari Raya Haji/Iduladha/Qurbani in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines;
Eid el-Kbir in Morocco, Egypt and Libya;
Tfaska Tamoqqart in the Berber language of Jerba; and
Tabaski or Tobaski in West Africa,
"Ciidwayneey" in Somalia and somali speaking regions of Kenya and Ethiopia.
In Bangladesh, Pakistan and India it is also called
Id ul-Zuha, and commonly referred to as
Bakr-Id بکرا عید "Goat Eid" as goat is the major sacrificial animal in those countries.
In Turkey it is often referred to as the Kurban Bayramı or "Sacrifice Feast". Similarly, in Bosnia and Albania it is referred as Kurban Bajrami

Ramadan is the month of fast for Muslims. According to Islam this is the month when Muslims devote themselves to god by praying and visiting mosque. According to Muslims the ninth month of the Muslim calendar when the full moon appears Ramadan fast begins.
It is the Ramadan month when Muslims believe that they are in the best of their spirits. During Ramadan Muslims have food twice a day. once before the sun rises and one after the sun sets. During the daylight they are fasting. Delicious food is prepared for the night meal and the next morning again set to fast.
After Ramadan means what happens once the month of ramdan, fasting month gets over. When the fasting month is over then comes the Eid-ul-Fitr.once the Ramadan is over Muslims look for another full moon to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr, which means happiness to break the fast.
Eid-Ul-Fitr
Eid-ul-fitr is the festival of happiness for Muslims. Early in the morning on this day they visit mosque to pray. Once they come back home there is a get together of all the friends and relatives. They wish each other by saying Eid Mubarak and creating an ambience of happiness. Muslims are generally dressed in the clothes, which they get stitched much before to wear on this day. Children usually have a leisure time on this day because they get perks and gifts from all their near and dear ones as a token of love. The best part on this occasion is the delicious and tempting food cooked. Some of the most common food items cooked on Eid-ul-fitr are:
*Lamb
*Goat
*Spicy vegetables
*Mrouziya
*Tabuli
*Biryani
*Mutton korma
Saiwaiyan, which is eaten as a desert. A lot of dry fruits and milk with sugar is added to increase the taste of this desert.
Another desert can be the candy made of groundnuts, honey sesame seeds and grated cheese.
So, a lot of preparations are to be done to plan a good Eid-ul-fitr this year, so start right now.

"It's far more aggressive than, you know, our last few records, I'd say. I think we kinda just went in this time and just started writing, and obviously, all the stuff that came out was just way aggressive. That's what kind of made it fun. It was weird being out in Malibu, which is like a sunny place, a happy place, and we just started making some straight evil music. We've spent a lot of time going into it and making it something special, we've spent a lot more time on it than on our last record so it's going other places" -
