Why is Anime so Racist? Here is what every anime character looks like; big, wide open round eyes, fair skin, pointed noses, nicely shaped body and light/blonde hair color. That describes about 96% of anime characters as being Caucasian by default. But I suppose I can’t blame them either. If anime featured mostly black, Asian or Hispanic characters people would cry racism because how funny they’d look; bloated meat lips, squinty eyes that you could blindfold with dental floss or mousy colored pubic hair on their heads. Has anyone who has watched a few shows of anime noticed this? Even on Bleach, my favorite show, the main character is most definitely white yet is passed off as being Chinese just because of his name. LAME.
Uhhh actually Bleach is based in Tokyo so that would mean the characters are Japanese........As far as skin, and hair color goes in anime that doesn't matter, characters have random colors attributed to them just to make them look cool................
All the characters in Bleach are either white or half white. None of the Bleach characters have pointy slanted eyes. The Japanese can't stand the fact that they are Asian so that is why they invented in Anime. Next.
so wait, let me get this straight-anime is racist because all the characters are white-and all the characters are white because they dont have slanty eyes or darker skin tones? im a little confused cos im an anime fan, and the only character i know who has truely round eyes (when it is not emotionally relevant) is rock lee from naruto...but if mr righthand would care to look in the outside corners (yes CORNERS) of any of the eyes of his "favourite show" bleach, he would have noticed a well defined angle...which would indicate to a japanese person that the character is japanese.

i know he does, but i just don't understand why come online and do this. he can go and find some other white-supremacist pricks and go and get arrested for burning crosses in people's yards while wearing bed sheets. Then he could share a cell with a nice, burly black man where his mouth will get him into trouble while the cops turn the other cheek.
Because some people find it funny to get a reaction out of people, and he doesn't have the balls to do it in real life probably due to the burly black man scenario.....
there should be some sort of a place we can send him to...full of other dangerous or insane people...for a certain ammount of time, determined by the nature of his crime (and of course, he can meet said black man there XD)
what he meant was by appearance, APPEARANCE, we darn well know most of those animes are set in japan, but they LOOK white....but the only complaint I'd have about bleach is that aside from that traitor captain, every black people in bleach looks murked =_=, like, crazy weird dude =_=
Ever seen a black guy in anime? They always look like apes. Sad but true, the Japanese are so racist they even hate themselves. When you look at Disney animated movies all the characters are noticable white and this makes sense; most the animators were white. But when it comes to Japan all their anime characters are white and we know that the Japanese invest a ton in anime. Why do Japanese people hate themselves so much? Why do they admire us white people? I guess God made us beautiful.
