I'm currently re-watching Lovely Complex. It's a good romantic comedy about the dysfunctional friendship/romance between a ludicrously tall girl and a ludicrously short boy, which has the added plus factor of Kansai-ben. The art can be kind of....crap sometimes, and not intentionally so, but overall it's a fun series. I've been utterly obliterated by uni work recently so I wanted to watch something pretty brainless and easy to digest on breaks, so it fits the bill. ANYWAY, what are you watching right now? There's a bunch of stuff that's new this season I've been meaning to check out, but just haven't yet, No disk-space and no time...
While on Aruba these past few months i havent downloaded anything. i HATE downloading here since its so fucking slow. Veoh TV and Crunchyroll has been great to me since i can stream with no problem surprisingly. I am currently watching A LOT OF SHIT too much to mention actually. And i have been reading a whole lot of manga . BITTER VIRGIN is until now the best work i have ever read in manga. I recommend that a lot.
Read and watched Love Com. Currently watching Vampire Knight, Rosario + Vampire and Itazura na Kiss.. plus Naruto XD Watched Mnemosyne......... it was.. oO. lol.
Itazura no Kiss is one of the ones from this season I want to check out (I'm a sucker for old-school romance). Haven't had the chance to read hardly any new manga over the last year, I've mostly just been continuing series'. Hopefully this will change in about 6 months or so though. What is up with this place not letting me put spaces between my lines?
Oo I am so out of the loop. I've been super busy so I have no time for anime (aside from late nights when Shin-Chan is on TV). To give me my fix, I have manga with me to read during my down time. And yes!! Vampire Knight anime? Must find!
Ok rosario+vampire i hate the anime.. LOVE THE MANGA though ( seriously stop watching the anime RIGHT NOW <. < ) vampire knight is cool , Itazura Na Kiss ( marmalade boy wannabe )read all of it until now. Should also check into some rediculous comedy of ToloveRu. ps: www.onemanga.com for the win
Monk is like way too into Higurashi series these days . So much he doesnt have any time for anything. He just graduated from Niagara College but doing a follow up . Anyways... you can email him. He knows bolt is up though.
Itazura na Kiss' manga pre-dates Marmalade Boy if I recall, so it's more like Marmalade Boy is a rip off of that. I pretty much can't get into vampire themed series, they tend to pander to fans too much, and as I'm not one of those people who thinks vampires/wolves etc are particularly cool or interesting, I just get bored. Unless there's some really unusual spin on it, I pretty much avoid them unless I hear it's crazy awesome from someone who has similar tastes to me. I heard ToLoveRu was average at best, actually. It's based on a JUMP manga, so that's enough to put me off, I don't have the time to start on another never-ending JUMP series. I've seen it referred to as kind of a Urusei Yatsura rip off, and I like UY, so I'll probably not like this.
For some reason :( I'm really big into Peach Girl atm but Urusei Yatsura is awesome <3 that was one of my favorite sets to watch when I was younger :( If I had the body I would cosplay that series quite often :)
Sadly, I haven't seen much recently and that only bevause of a friend who for now lives in my hometown. Because of him I saw Appleseed and part of Samirai 7 (could be wrong about that one cause I'm a wee bit fuzzy on the name.)
