Just the thought of it made me wanna read this manga. What am i talking about ? Well it's about this girl who transfers to a school which apparently only has boys. There is a reason for that but main thing is that the school has a tradition to have a school gang leader and the only way to get the title and MAD respect is to DEFEAT the current leader. Here comes this girl and outta nowhere wacks this punk with a steel plated bag to the chin and knocks him out lol. Guess what a school of 850 boys and 1 girl leading it all unwillingly hahahaha.
Hmm....it just hasn't been that long since I watched the Hana Kimi drama(s), so I'm all 'omg-girl-in-all-boys-school''d out for the moment I fear, though I may come back to it.
I probably shouldn't have watched both of them in such quick succession...I really only finished the Japan version out of pure stubbornness, it really wasn't very good. The soundtrack was good, the guy playing Nakatsu was good, and the girl playing Mizuki looked the part better than ELLA did in the Taiwan version (she wasn't as good an actress though), but on the whole, the Taiwan version was a much more enjoyable interpretation of the Hana Kimi manga. The Japan version took too many weird liberties and was way, way, way too camp. Plus the guy playing Sano who's in every J-drama EVAR is still a terrible actor, no matter how good looking he might be.
