Do you live and breathe TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter? Have you ever felt the satisfaction, power, and influence of getting ten thousand likes and shares on a post? Do you have a gift for creating amazing content and posts that are somehow just naturally engaging? Bolt is building a network of millions of shoppers — as much as 30M in 2021 and we’re in search of someone to lead and own social media and engagement for us. You’ll partner with the biggest retailers and brands in the world to grow awareness of Bolt, our network, and our influence in ecommerce. 

In this role you will develop and execute Bolt’s social strategy to raise awareness and drive engagement with both retailers and shoppers.  This is an extremely unique opportunity to leave your mark and build a huge social following with an existing yet untapped network of top retailers and millions of shoppers already using Bolt. 

You’ll lead, support, and strengthen our brand’s customer-facing voice across social media channels, with a focus on audience development and shopper engagement. You’ll create campaigns to amplify content to promote Bolt within the retail industry. You’ll also develop influencer programs to help build Bolt’s brand with consumers. You’ll be our social storyteller that personifies all of Bolt’s values externally in fun, engaging, meaningful, and thoughtful ways. 



  • Grow and maintain Bolt’s social media channels daily
  • Develop the voice and personality of Bolt on social channels to prospects, our target retailers, and their millions of shoppers 
  • Develop influencer programs, social contests and consumer giveaways with our Customer Marketing team
  • Be Bolt’s brand advocate in social channels with customers, partners and, consumers
  • Create compelling content to engage our community and fans
  • Partner closely with our internal teams and agency partners to deliver content and programming built for social; ensure all work aligns with the brand’s visual aesthetic and tone of voice
  • Collaborate on communication strategies
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to build social programs to create prospects from existing and upcoming content such as ebooks and industry reports
  • Monitor and analyze conversations across key social media channels to prepare monthly reports to update the business on insights and opportunitiesLead the development of our social influencer strategy and ensure that it is aligned with Bolt’s brand and reflects the trends and attitudes of Bolt’s customers.
  • Find opportunities in our existing social media channels, as well as exploring new channels


  • You get social - personally and/or professionally
  • 2+ years prior experience building your followers, followers for a brand or company You can put together a social media strategy and create compelling content
  • You're as comfortable on LinkedIn as you are TikTok
  • Passion for social media space and fueled desire to innovate and achieve audience development goals
  • Proven success in building a following and engaging with influencers to build a brand
  • Direct experience developing and optimizing social media campaigns and strategies
  • Deep working knowledge of social media channels, including management of performance-based paid social advertising campaigns
  • Experience with social media monitoring tools and platforms
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with departments 
  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices standards for all social media channels including and not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Solid analytical skills and experience using data to drive actionable insights and decision-makingAbility to collaborate well with Bolt’s partners, influence without direct authority, and build strong relationships across teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate complex program, processes, recommendations, and data to audiences across functions, teams, and organizational levels
