Bolt is looking to hire a Software Engineer in Test to help scale quality of product we ship across our technology stack. You’ll build and own the integration testing platform, frameworks and all the integration tests for our engineering team. 
The ideal candidate has a keen sense of what it takes to ship great software in a fast moving technical environment. You should be able to identify areas for improvement, proactively make those improvements, and communicate changes to the team. 

What You Will Do:

  • Build end-to-end automated browser and API tests that can continuously test Bolt products across multiple shopping cart platforms
  • Own and maintain all integration tests and CI pipeline.
  • Build and maintain frameworks for cross browser/multiple browser testing.
  • Work with teams to plan the testing strategy for new feature releases
  • Project status updates on test coverage, what’s going well and what we can improve.
  • Run load or stress testing to prepare our services for high traffic scenarios.

What would set you apart

  • (Required) 3+ years of experience doing automated testing, cross browser testing
  • (Required) Experience having project managed large testing efforts.
  • (Required) Require experience with Selenium and Webdriver.
  • (Required) Good at verbal and written communication. Given this person will be the point of contact between different teams, communication cannot be compromised.
  • (Required) Very comfortable with Javascript, CSS and other scripting languages
  • (Required) Responsible for testing critical user facing services used by tens or hundreds of thousands of users
  • (Bonus) Understands how HTTP protocol works, how pages are rendered, javascript and ECMAScript standards
