Bolt Account Reward Program Terms

TThese Bolt Account Reward Program Terms (these “Reward Terms”) are provided to you (“you” or “your”) by Bolt Financial, Inc. (collectively “Bolt,” “we”, “our” or “us”) and apply to you if you have been approved to participate in the Bolt card rewards program (“Program”). By accepting these terms, you agree to participate in the Program and consent to these Reward Terms. These Reward Terms supplement our general End User Terms of Use available at https://www.bolt.com/mobile-legal/end-user-terms (the “Terms”), which also apply to the Program. These Reward Terms are incorporated by reference into, and form a part of, the Terms. In the event of a conflict between the terms of these Reward Terms and the Terms, these Reward Terms will supersede and control but only with respect to the Program. All capitalized terms used but not defined in these Reward Terms have their respective meanings as set forth in the Terms.

THE TERMS CONTAIN A MANDATORY INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION/JURY TRIAL WAIVER PROVISION THAT REQUIRES THE USE OF ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES, RATHER THAN JURY TRIALS OR CLASS ACTIONS.

1. Overview. In connection with your acceptance and use of your Bolt Debit Card linked to your deposit account offered by our partnering bank (such account, the “Checking Account”), you may be eligible to participate in the Program, which may allow you to use your Bolt Debit Card (referred to as the “Card”) for certain rewards that we provide you access to (“Perks”) and to earn and accrue (“Cashback”) as described herein. The Checking Account and Card are governed by the partnering bank’s terms (“Bank Agreement”).

2. Perks. Perks your Card may be eligible for will be displayed to you via the App. Certain Perks may require you to register your eligible Card for such Perk via the App prior to your eligibility to claim, redeem or otherwise use such Perk. All offers made available to you are temporary and may become unavailable without notice. Certain Perks may require you to use your eligible Card from an eligible merchant during a specified period. Only a completed transaction prior to the end of such specified period will qualify for such Perks. If you satisfy the terms and conditions of a Perk that is eligible for a credit to your Checking Account, it may take up to 90 days for such credit to be credited to your Checking Account. If it has been more than 90 days since the transaction and the credit or other benefit related to the Perk is not reflected in your Checking Account or the App, please contact customer service. Perks may only be claimed, redeemed or used if you are in compliance with all terms and conditions of these Reward Terms and the Bank Agreement. Additional terms and conditions may apply to Perks, including the terms and conditions of the applicable merchant, and you are solely responsible for complying with such additional terms and conditions. If you are in violation of such additional terms and conditions, you may be ineligible to claim, redeem, use or otherwise benefit from the Perk, and your access to such Perk may be terminated. Unless we expressly state otherwise in the terms and conditions of Perks, the following transactions do not qualify for you to claim, redeem or otherwise use a Perk: (i) transactions processed manually or using a paper based process, (ii) transactions involving a payment method other than the Card (including but not limited to peer-to-peer transfers or ACH transfers), (iii) purchasing an otherwise eligible merchant’s goods through a third party, (iv) transactions where the merchant does not pass on the information we need to process it properly within the offer period, (v) transactions where you buy a gift card, store credit or a voucher, (vi) transactions that are subsequently refunded or cancelled, and (vii) any other purchases that are not considered Eligible Purchases (collectively, “Excluded Transactions”).

3. Earning Cashback. You may earn and accrue Cashback that you can redeem for rewards in the form of a credit to your Checking Account (“Rewards”) on eligible purchases from eligible merchants, as each is determined by us in our sole discretion (“Eligible Purchases”), charged to your Card. The cashback you redeem will be deposited to your Checking Account.

No Cashback will be earned for otherwise qualifying transactions occurring during any period in which your Card was not open, was lost, stolen, revoked or closed or was otherwise in default of the Bank Agreement or these Reward Terms, or when you were not enrolled into the Program. All transactions in U.S. Dollars for which Cashback is awarded to you will be rounded to the nearest cent for purposes of determining the amount of Cashback to be awarded.

You will automatically begin earning Cashback upon enrolling in the Rewards Program and making an Eligible Purchase with your Bolt Debit Card, subject to the Bolt’s approval of such enrollment request. You may notify the Bolt that you want to withdraw from the Rewards Program at any time.

You may see any Cashback earned on the App. Cashback shown in the App may be rounded, but redemption is on the actual Cashback amounts. The frequency, timing, content or layout of the Rewards features on the App are subject to change from time-to-time at the discretion of Bolt. Cashback and Rewards cannot be combined with other discount or reward programs unless specifically authorized by us.

The Cashback earned on Eligible Purchases depends on whether the Eligible Purchase was made with a merchant not listed under Section 12. The Bolt Rewards Program provides different reward rates based on spending category and Rewards tier. The breakdown is as follows:

Tiered Rewards Structure:

The Program utilizes a tier-based structure that allows you to customize the manner in which Rewards are earned. You may assign a specific spending category (e.g., Restaurants, Shopping, Personal Care, Travel, etc.) to each applicable Rewards tier, in accordance with your spending behavior, for the purpose of optimizing Rewards earnings. The Program automatically applies the corresponding Rewards rate to Eligible Purchases that align with your selected categories. If no selections are made, an “Independent Retail” category is automatically selected to the Super Boost tier, and “Restaurants” to the Boost tier.
Rewards rates vary by tier and selected category. For example, if you designate “Independent Retail” as the selected category for the Super Boost tier and “Restaurants” for the Boost tier, you may earn 3% Cashback and 7% Store Credit on Eligible Purchases made at merchants categorized as Independent Retail, and 1% Cashback and 2% Store Credit on Eligible Purchases made at merchants categorized as Restaurants.
You may change their Boost and Super Boost tier selections only once per calendar year. Monthly caps and category eligibility apply. Each category offers distinct reward rates, as disclosed below. Categories and rates may change from time to time at our discretion. Please refer to Section 12 for more information on ineligible merchants.

Super Boost
• 3% cashback on the full amount of Eligible Purchases (e.g., a $100 eligible purchase earns $3 cashback)
• 7% store credit at love.com on the full amount of Eligible Purchases (For example, a $100 eligible purchase earns $7 in store credit.) Store credit can be applied to up to 50% of a love.com order total (e.g., If your order total is $100, you can use a maximum of $50 in love.com store credits).
Applies to Eligible Purchases in this tier, up to $3,000 per month.
Boost
• 1% cashback on the full amount of eligible purchases (e.g., a $100 eligible purchase earns $1 cashback).
• 2% store credit at love.com on the full amount of eligible purchases (For example, a $100 purchase earns $7 in store credit, which can be applied to up to 50% of a future love.com order (e.g., If your order total is $100, you can use a maximum of $50 in love.com store credits).
Applies to eligible purchases in the selected category, up to $1,000 per month.
Auto-Boost
• Streaming: 3% cashback and 7% store credit at love.com on all streaming Eligible Purchases (e.g., a $100 spend earns $3 cashback and $7 store credit).
• Gaming: 1% cashback and 2% store credit at love.com on all gaming Eligible Purchases.
Applies to all streaming and gaming Eligible Purchases, up to $1,000 per month per spending category. Categories and limits are always-on and disclosed in-app. The store credit limit follows the same 50% redemption limit rule as described above.
All Other Spend:
- 0.5% cashback and 1% store credit at love.com on Eligible Purchases not included in the above categories. Cashback is calculated on the full purchase amount (e.g., $0.50 on a $100 purchase). The store credit limit follows the same 50% redemption limit rule as described above.

If it has been more than thirty (30) days since the transaction and Cashback is not reflected in the App, please contact customer service by phone at 1-970-438-2658 (1-970-GET BOLT) or by email at support@bolt.com. Inquiries must be made within one-hundred eighty (180) days of the transaction. If you do not file your claim within one-hundred eighty (180) days, Cashback earned or otherwise applied as provided in the App will be deemed accurate and you will have waived any claim for adjustment.

In addition, you may earn Cashback as may be authorized by us from time-to-time for special programs, promotions, or transactions that may be offered for limited time periods and for which additional terms and conditions may apply.

4. Excluded Transactions. Cash advances, including purchases of cash equivalents of any kind, balance transfers, transactions to obtain credit protection, gift cards, prepaid debit cards, traveler’s checks, precious metals, casino chips, cryptocurrency, lottery tickets or other cash equivalents, gambling or speculative transactions, payments made for stored value cards such as gift cards and similar cards, wire transfers, money transfers, and similar products that may be converted to cash, such as money orders and certified checks charged to your Card, convenience check amounts, purchases we believe to have been made by or for a commercial purpose, transactions made with a lost, cancelled, stolen, or fraudulent Card, Card fees, interest charges, ATM transactions, cash withdrawals or cash back transactions, transactions involving funding of digital wallets, payment apps, or direct transfers to individuals, credit insurance, gambling fees, debt cancellation charges, illegal transactions or other transactions prohibited under your Bank Agreement, transactions involving adult content, transactions that fall under the MCC Blocked List (as defined below), purchases made with Amazon, Walmart, Apple, eBay, Target, BestBuy or Home Depot, transactions made with Rewards, credits for returned merchandise or for account adjustments, all incidental charges and fees charged by the Card issuing bank (e.g., voluntary payment protection costs, finance charges, returned check fees, service charges, over-limit fees, and ATM fees), purchases made when your Card is not in good standing or if you have any past-due monthly payments on your Card, unauthorized or fraudulent transactions and payments to real estate agents and managers or rental and related payments do not qualify as Eligible Purchases and do not earn Rewards. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION WHETHER A PARTICULAR TRANSACTION IS AN ELIGIBLE PURCHASE OR TO INCLUDE OR EXCLUDE OTHER TRANSACTIONS FROM THE DEFINITION OF QUALIFYING PURCHASES. If a merchant is not an eligible merchant, as determined by us, you will not earn Rewards based on any transaction with such merchant. Rewards are based on the pre-tax gross merchandise value, net of any discounts, credits or promotions, and all Rewards received are exclusive of any applicable withholding, sales, use, excise, value added, or other taxes. Excluded Purchases are also not considered Eligible Purchases. MCC Blocked List means transactions that fall under the MCC codes listed under Section 12.

5. Promotional Offers. From time to time, you may receive promotional reward offers from us (“Promotional Offers”). Each Promotional Offer or category-based reward will include terms shown in the App, including how to qualify and any applicable limits or exclusions.

Referral Offer

As part of our Promotional Offer, existing Bolt Mobile App users (“Referrers”) may invite friends (“Referred Friends”) to download and sign up for the Bolt Mobile App. By participating, you agree to the following terms:

Referred Friends will receive a $1 love.com store credit upon signup.
Referrers will receive a $3 love.com store credit after Referred Friends complete a first qualifying purchase.

Referral Offer eligibility is determined via secure, trackable invite links. Fraud or abuse may result in disqualification. Store credit earned through the Referral Offer is subject to the love.com store credits policy. This Referral Offer is for limited time only and may not be offered indefinitely.

5. Merchant Category Code (“MCC”). Merchants who accept the Card are assigned a merchant code, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with card brand procedures based on the kinds of products and services they primarily sell. As such, even though a merchant may sell retail items that may be similar to retail items sold by another merchant, the merchants may not have the same merchant code, and therefore the purchases at the merchants may not be included in the same category for the purposes of earning Rewards. Purchases must be submitted by merchants using the identified merchant category codes to qualify for earning Rewards. We are not responsible for incorrectly coded transactions. Additionally, purchases made (i) with any real estate agents and managers (ii) such as rental and/ or related payments, etc.), (ii) through third parties, including online marketplaces and resellers, or (iii) using a third-party payment account will not be eligible for accruing Rewards.

6. If you return, charge back, cancel, dispute, or otherwise request a refund for an Eligible Purchase for which you have already received Cashback or Rewards, we reserve the right to remove any related Cashback, withhold future Cashback to cover any such amount or debit your Checking Account for an amount equal to the Rewards. All offers made available to you are temporary and may become unavailable without notice.

7. Redeeming Cashback. You may redeem any Cashback earned by clicking the “Redeem” button provided in App.We may notify you from time to time of minimum amounts of Cashback needed to redeem for Rewards. Redemptions are subject to the requirements and terms and conditions contained herein. Your Cashback will not be available for redemption until posted in the relevant Rewards section of the App regardless of the date of the transaction for which Cashback is earned. Your Cashback may only be redeemed for Rewards if you are in compliance with all terms and conditions of the Terms, these Reward Terms and the Bank Agreement, in each case, at the time of any Cashback redemption for Rewards and you owe us no payment under these Reward Terms and the Bank Agreement. Cashback may only be redeemed rewards in the form of a credit to your Checking Account. Rewards redemptions will generally be credited to your Checking Account within two (2) business days of your redemption. If you do not receive your redemption within the above-specified timeframes, please contact customer service. Cashback that is not redeemed within 12 months expires. In addition, any Cashback that has not been redeemed at Checking Account closure will be forfeited.

8. Redeeming Store Credit. Store credits earned through the Program and/or Promotional Offer can be redeemed exclusively at love.com and are subject to the following conditions:

• Store credits may be applied to cover up to 50% of the total value of a qualifying order (e.g., If your order total is $100, you can use a maximum of $50 in love.com store credits).
• Store credits are not transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and expire after 12 months from the date they are earned.

Available store credits will be automatically applied at your love.com checkout when logged in your Bolt Mobile App. No additional steps are required. Redemption rules, eligibility requirements, and participating merchants may change from time to time at Bolt’s sole discretion.

9. Restrictions; Cancellation; Forfeiture. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, we may temporarily or permanently suspend your participation in the Program as well as any Perks, Cashback or any redemption of Cashback for Rewards if: (1) you violate, or you or your Card or Checking Account is in default under these Reward Terms or the Bank Agreement; (2) you engage in any fraudulent or other illegal activity in connection with the Rewards Program, or otherwise engage in activity that we deem to be abusive or “gaming” conduct under the Program, as determined in our sole discretion; (3) you engage in fraudulent activity on any service or product we may offer or service; (4) your Card or Checking Account is closed for any reason; or (5) we terminate your participation in the Program.

10. Marketplace Credits. You may earn store credits in two ways:
(a) Through Bolt’s Rewards Program: Store credits may be earned on Eligible Purchases and redeemed at participating merchants (e.g., Love.com). Redemption terms, eligibility requirements, and limitations are defined in our Rewards Terms.
(b) Through Merchant Rewards Programs: Some merchants may offer their own store credits when you use your Bolt Debit Card. These credits are governed solely by that merchant’s program. See the applicable merchant’s reward terms for details.

11. Miscellaneous.

Redemptions and any Perks, Cashback or Rewards you receive may qualify as taxable income to you. You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for determining, paying, withholding, filing, and reporting all taxes, duties, and other governmental assessments associated with your activity in connection with the Program. We are not responsible for (i) determining whether you owe taxes in connection with your participation in the Program or redemption or use of Perks, Cashback or Rewards or (ii) for collecting, reporting, or remitting taxes arising from your participation in the Rewards Program or redemption or use of Perks, Cashback or Rewards.
You represent and warrant that you will not access or use the Program to engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or other illicit activity. The Program is owned and administered by us, and your participation in the Program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. The Program is void where prohibited by applicable laws and regulations.
Cashback and Perks are not your property and may not be assigned or transferred to any person (including upon death or as a part of a domestic relations matter). Cashback neither have cash value, surrender value, transfer value nor any other value of any kind until and to the extent they are actually redeemed for Rewards. Cashback cannot be used to offset any amount due from you to us or any bank partner; provided that, subject to these Reward Terms, you may redeem Cashback for Rewards in the form of a credit to your Checking Account. Cashback used by you for redemption will be those unredeemed Cashback that were earned the longest time ago. All redemptions are final. The sale or barter of any Cashback, other than by us, is expressly prohibited.
We may terminate your participation in the Program at any time. We may end this Program at any time for any reason or no reason, upon notice to you. We may temporarily or permanently disqualify you from participating in the Program and/or adjust or cause to be forfeited any or all Cashback or Rewards accrued as a result of your abusive behavior, fraud, misrepresentation, any violation of law or any other violation of any of the terms or conditions of the Terms, these Reward Terms or the Bank Agreement, in each case as determined by us in our sole discretion. We may, in our sole discretion, cancel, change, amend, modify, or restrict the Program or any aspects, terms or features of the Program.
If we do not credit or improperly deny Perks, Cashback, or a Rewards redemption to which you were otherwise entitled, then your exclusive remedy will be the issuance of the improperly denied Perks, Cashback or Rewards redemption, if available, or such other alternative benefit as we in our sole discretion may determine. Neither we nor any of our affiliates, agents or representatives have any other or additional liability to you or any other person for such error(s), subject to applicable law.
